Things to know about Seven Sisters Falls
Upon visiting Seven Sisters Falls or St Margaret's Falls as we like to call it, you will not see seven waterfalls. You will see the two main falls as depicted in most photos.

For the more adventurous, you can continue up the side of the waterfall along an arduous and treacherous unbeaten track where you will encounter three or four more smaller falls which can be quite underwhelming.

The hike to the main two falls is about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on fitness, which is mostly downhill and can be extremely slippery and muddy in the rainy season.

The actual waterfalls do not belong to anyone and there are multiple ways to get there via longer and more difficult routes, but the shortest and most popular route is through private land, hence the $2.00 USD fee. There is no charge for children under the age of 10.

Paying the entrance fee online, will eliminate scammers or hustlers who often put a dampener on what should be a pleasurable day out. When driving in, continue past the yellow and green concrete building that says welcome to Seven Sisters Falls and follow the concrete road for another 200 metres where you will find a black wooden cabin at the very start of the actual trail. Simpy show proof of payment and enjoy your rainforest hike.

This payment option may also benefit the independent travellers who like to get about by driving themselves or taking local busses. This payment option acts as a coupon that is valid for 6 months and multiple visits as long as the proof of payment is shown and some form of I.D that matches the name on the coupon either down loaded onto a mobile phone or printed.
